Episode Ten

The night jungle is a place of life and death. A frog wails as it is swallowed from behind by a vivid green snake. Bats whirr through the air snatching soft plump moths on the wing. Night cats prowl under moon dappled leaves. And the Queens march.
Their bodies sway as they pace their eight legged way with barely a rustle of leaf mold. They do not stop to make web or hunt.
The one they seek is in the trees and they can taste her essence in the air.
